Hmmm searching. I realise now that that is the reason why I did not pursue the idea any further.
If you have data in different tables, you would also have to change the search routine to take into account ALL the other tables... That might slow down things. On the other hand you could maybe put in a select option, indicating whether a table will be searched (in general). Or you could search the additional tables only when a special key is passed in (e.g. search_all=1)
