Hi,

Ever since we upgraded to Links 2.1.1 and moved our server, we are unable to validate new links.

Every time we do a validate for new links its giving us the error

Error :
Unable to validate link: xxxx. Reason: The record you are attempting
to modify has changed since you last accessed it.

Since then we are validating records using MySQLMan, and thats really a big pain.

Any help is appreciated to solve this problem.

The reason that it is giving you that error is because either someone else has modified the link since you opened it for editing, or a user has clicked on it, therefore the clicktracking has gone up. I know its annoying, but imagine how you would feel if your data was overwritten again by someone modifying a link at the same time as you

How can some one click or modify the link, when its not yet validated.

I am getting this error while validating new links, not one link but all new links.

Did you "repair tables" ??

When all else fails, try that first :)

Especially after an upgrade, database change or import, etc.

Yes I did "repair tables".

But that did'nt solve the problem.
