Inheritance in templates

Is an <init> block in scope only for the currently executing template,
or can called components see it as well. If the former, is there a way
to make a "use xxx;" statement apply to all components called below the
it is in?

Thanks

Re: Inheritance in templates [In reply to]

Hi George.

I'm pretty sure the scope is local. But you can always put those "use
Acme::Eyedrops;" statements into bricolage.conf, and then the named
modules will be available in all templates.

Hope this was what you had in mind,

Bret
