And another reason to love Bricolage

Hi everybody.

Today was a little milestone for the Sportsnet Bricolage; its story ID
numbers cracked into six-digit territory.

If I remember correctly, the first story gets an ID of something like
1024, so sometime in the next few hours the 100,000th story will be
published.

The good news is that Bricolage remains stable and quick, even with
4,500 versions of the home page, plus several thousand versions of each
of the several section home pages. This is thanks to the database index
David and Josh came up with and Alex applied. See:

Good news is no news, I realize. But it's a real delight to watch the
home page publish through ten output channels in < 20 seconds, and I
wanted to spread the delight around a little.

Cheers,

Bret

Yeah, very nice. Look for that index in the next releases.

Best,

David
