Cherokee 0.9.0 "T.N.T." released!
===================================

Cherokee is a very fast, flexible and easy to configure Web Server.
It supports the widespread technologies nowadays: FastCGI, SCGI, PHP,
CGI, TLS and SSL encrypted connections, Virtual hosts, Authentication,
on the fly encoding, Apache compatible log files, HTTP load balancing,
data base balancing, and much more.

Cherokee also provides an easy to use configuration interface that
allows to configure the server from top to bottom without having to
edit a text configuration file.

Changes
-------
This release ships a whole lot of important improvements; this is the
best Cherokee web server version so far. The overall performance has
been improved while a number of interesting features have been added:

Cherokee:
- Adds a MySQL bridge and load balancer
- Adds TLS SNI support
- Adds support for expiration headers
- Adds a custom error handler
- Adds encoding fine grain management
- Chunked Encoding support is much faster now
- TLS/SSL support bugfixes
- Keep-Alive bugfixes
- Uses a new 'information source' concept
- Adds relative path support to -r

Documentation:
- Huge documentation update
- Man pages updates

Administration interface:
- It implements form auto-submission
- In certain cases, it hides useless options
- Its help support has been dastrically improved

Minor glitch there. The path goes with the release, so 0.9 instead of 0.8 ;)
